Life Members
Life Membership of the OHA Hockey Club is a rare and special thing. The nomination must be made and seconded by two members with at least 8 years at OHA, then supported by ten members with at least 5 years. Some 66 years of experience of all things OHA considering the nomination of a Life Membership.
That person once successfully nominated is considered by a special committee made up of life members. They look for their contribution to the club, their values and personal achievements. The special committee passes their recommendation on the General Committee for endorsement. Life Membership recognises an extended and worthy length of service to the club.
There are currently only 39 Life Members of OHA (as at 2023), reflecting the prestige and meaning of such a membership and the calibre of those that manage to achieve it.
