A life membership is the highest honour the OHA Hockey Club can bestow on an individual. Also, it is a rare honour; in the clubs 100 year history there have only been 32, now 34, people ever awarded life membership. To be awarded one is recognition of a significant, sustained and highly valued contribution to the OHA Hockey Club. At Saturday night’s Presentation Dinner two new life members was inducted into this very exclusive club.

Some of our Perpetual Awards are over 50 years old and there have been some great players and club members who have won them over the years. Read on to see the full list of the 2020 Perpetual Award winners who will now have their names imortalised on these prestigious awards.

The Junior Presentation Night was held on Thursday 5th November at the THC. It was a great evening celebrating the achievements of all our junior players. Thank you to Graham & Michelle Cowie from Battery World Hobart for their sponsorship of the night. It’s MOVEMBER again, which means the OHA guys will be starting to grow their Mo’s once again, in memory of beloved OHA member Edward Cranwell. Make sure you get behind ‘Ed’s MO BROS’ and make a donation, or join the team & help to raise some money for men’s health!

Expressions of Interest for suitably qualified coaches and assistant coaches for our Premier League & 1st Grade Men’s and Women’s teams for 2021 close Friday 13th November.

The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the OHA HOCKEY CLUB INC. will be held on Monday 23rd November 2020, 6:00pm, THC.

Nominations for committee positions must be received by Friday 13th  November.

Make sure you head on over to the OHA tent on Saturday for a special Grand FInal Day BBQ. All proceeds from Saturday’s BBQ will go to Rare Cancers Australia, so grab your coins & lets raise some money!
